Affiliate Disclosure
Effective Date: October 5, 2026
Neighborly Solar believes in being transparent with our readers about how this website may generate revenue.
Some of the links on Neighborly Solar may be affiliate links. This means that if you click an affiliate link and make a qualifying purchase or complete a qualifying action, we may receive a commission from the retailer, manufacturer, or affiliate program at no additional cost to you.
What Are Affiliate Links?
An affiliate link is a special link that allows a retailer or affiliate network to identify that a visitor came to their website from Neighborly Solar.
If you use one of these links and make an eligible purchase, Neighborly Solar may receive a commission.
The price you pay is generally not increased because you used an affiliate link.
Why We Use Affiliate Links
Running and maintaining a website involves costs such as hosting, software, research, content development, maintenance, and other operating expenses.
Affiliate commissions can help support Neighborly Solar and allow us to continue creating and maintaining educational content about solar energy and related products.
Our Approach to Product Information
We aim to provide useful and honest information about the products and topics we cover.
An affiliate relationship does not guarantee that a product will receive a positive review or recommendation.
When discussing products, we may consider factors such as:
- Product features and specifications
- Intended use
- Performance information
- Price and value
- Available alternatives
- Customer considerations
- Manufacturer information
- Other relevant information available to us
We encourage readers to conduct their own research and compare products before making a purchase.
Product prices, specifications, availability, warranties, and other details can change. Always check the current information provided by the manufacturer or retailer before purchasing.
Third-Party Retailers and Manufacturers
Neighborly Solar may link to third-party retailers, manufacturers, marketplaces, and other websites.
These third parties operate independently from Neighborly Solar and have their own terms, privacy policies, warranties, return policies, pricing, and purchasing conditions.
We are not responsible for the products, services, policies, or practices of third-party websites.
If you make a purchase through an external website, your transaction is with that third party.
Amazon and Other Affiliate Programs
Neighborly Solar may participate in affiliate programs operated by retailers, manufacturers, affiliate networks, or other third parties.
If Neighborly Solar participates in the Amazon Associates Program or another specific affiliate program, additional disclosures required by that program may apply.
Affiliate relationships may change over time as we add, remove, or change partnerships.
Editorial Independence
Our goal is to provide information that is useful to our readers.
Receiving a commission from an affiliate link does not mean that a product is suitable for every reader, nor does it mean that we guarantee the quality, performance, safety, or suitability of a product.
We encourage readers to consider their own needs, budget, location, installation requirements, and other relevant factors before making purchasing decisions.
For solar panels, batteries, inverters, and other electrical equipment, readers should also consult qualified professionals when professional advice or installation is required.
No Additional Cost to You
When you purchase a product through an affiliate link, the commission we receive generally comes from the retailer or affiliate program and does not represent an additional charge to you.
The price you see on the retailer’s website may still change because of sales, promotions, taxes, shipping costs, availability, or other factors controlled by the retailer.
Advertising
In addition to affiliate relationships, Neighborly Solar may display advertisements from third-party advertising providers.
Advertising revenue and affiliate commissions may help support the operation and maintenance of the website.
The presence of an advertisement or affiliate link does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of the advertised product or service.
Our Commitment to Transparency
We believe readers should understand how websites can generate revenue.
Whenever appropriate, we may identify affiliate relationships or use disclosures near affiliate content. This page provides a general explanation of our affiliate relationships and may be supplemented by disclosures within individual articles or pages.
Our goal is to make our financial relationships clear while continuing to provide useful and informative content.
